FFBI AGENT APPLICATION ---------------------- FFBI Agents are little known factors in the realm of the 1960's. They are almost always confined to their home beneath the hills of Tacoma Park. If they are seen outside of their agency it is at night or on a hunt. There are five types of FFBI Agents: Helpers - those who reprogramme travellers who have come through time to adjust them to live in the 1960's. They are responsible for rewriting memories, supressing former memories, and altering databanks to create a false identification for the new arrival. Hunters - these are the Agents whose sole job is to track travellers who have gone awry. Generally this is when supressed memories resurface. As all travellers are electronically tagged and monitored at all times by Trackers this job is usually done quickly and effectively. Hunters must be stealthy and swift and must be willing to kill themselves or a traveller if a situation is compromised. At all times the FFBI Agency must be kept secret. Trackers - these agents have the responsiblity of keeping track of all the movements of a traveller as they live in the city of Willington Heights. This is a prestigious job and a Tracker can be responsible for up to 50 travellers (although the number is usually much smaller, around 15 or so). Commanders - these are the men and women who run the operation. Generally they do not live in Willington at all but exist in the future and keep tabs on the operation in Willington via timespacephone or by personally entering themselves for survalliance. There is at least three commanders always present at the agency at any given time, however. Techies - these guys just keep it going. They run the computers, they fix bugs, they are incredibly computer savvy and keep the place running. They generally have long hours as their expertise is limited and highly coveted. -- All Agents are sworn to secrecy and know that their lives are expendible in the cause to keep the Agency secret. All Agents are electronically tagged and tracked as well as all travellers. The average age for an Agent is 25 to 55. Agents generally trained at the FFBI Academy before relocating to the 1960's. Some may have served in other time periods/Agencies around the world. Most would not have lived their entire lives as an Agent. None were ever travellers. Families are generally limited to immediate. The position is not permanent although this is a good, safe job to have (as opposed to living in the future) and most will do anything to keep it.
